Bring imagery to life in Flash CS4

Select frame 115 and open the ActionScript Editor. Add a ‘stop();’ command to stop the movie here so that it doesn’t repeat. Select frame five, then open ‘step17.txt’ from the cover CD. Copy the text which is the ActionScript code then return back to Flash. Click inside the ActionScript Editor and paste the code in.

18 Test the movie

Save your work now and press Ctrl/Cmnd+Enter on the keyboard to test the SWF movie. You should see the car fade in and as the background fades in, the text should start to appear. As the text finishes the background should come into focus while swashes of light give focus to the car.

      I agree that flash should be incorporated to html websites. Websites shouldn’t be static in my opinion. There must be some sort of interactivity. Thanks for sharing this :)
