Although it’s been in beta for a good while now, Microsoft has officially unveiled Silverlight 2 – including new features such as .NET framework support (rich base-class library), advanced skinning and templating, Deep Zoom facilities, new built-in controls (ScrollViewer, Calendar, ListBox, etc), multiple programming language support, plus added advertising services.“We launched Silverlight just over a year ago, and already one in four consumers worldwide has access to a computer with Silverlight already installed,” said Scott Guthrie, corporate vice president of the .NET Developer Division at Microsoft
