Just as an amendment for an earlier post – Ray Ozzie is NOT attending ReMIX 2008…This was merely a crazy rumour perpetuated by one embarrassingly ill-informed journalist and shouldn’t be taken seriously.I realise I have just blown his alibi if he was using a ReMIX UK appearance as one!Again, Microsoft’s Ray Ozzie is NOT in Brighton…Mark :D

Okay, so we’re back for a quick coffee break before heading to our first session at ReMIX.We’ve just heard the keynote address from the very animated Bill Buxton, principal researcher, and Scott Guthrie, VP of the developer division.I heard most of Scott’s address at MIX in Las Vegas earlier this year, so he gave us more overviews on Microsoft’s strategies on web, media, RIA, mobile – with demos of Silverlight 2.0 very much the focus.More interesting was Buxton’s passionate talk about the importance of good design right across the board
