Carlos Ulloa talks 2010 with Web Designer

In 2010 I’m looking forward to see interactive 3D on the web reach tipping point. During the past three years we have seen great examples of interactive 3D, for web design as well as for everything else -from the iPhone to game consoles or the browser, from the Wiimote to the touchscreen or the upcoming project Natal, augmented reality, even films and TV are reinventing themselves with new 3D technology. Thanks to the many 3D tools and technologies available to developers today, I am sure we can expect increasingly better interactive 3D content on the web, and I hope it will reach its maturity and help to blur the boundaries between the different platforms. I am particularly looking forward to the developments of two of my favourite technologies, Papervision3D and Unity.
