The popular social networking site has risked the wrath of fanatical fans by undergoing a redesign. Despite protests from users the team had originally rolled out an optional revision that users could choose to use, although now the changes have been imposed due to the inability to maintain both versions.
“Any change can be a big deal to our users because this is how they connect with their family and friends,” Mark Zuckerberg told the BBC. “So when you move things around, it can be perceived as being not a positive thing even when it’s a positive change.”
