Back from ReMIX!

Just a quick update on return from Brighton today. Obviously back in the Web Designer HQ this morning – after arriving back Friday evening.We got to speak with both Bill Buxton and Scott Guthrie in the afternoon, with both providing some fascinating insight into the way Microsoft works these days. Bill especially was one of the most interesting guys I’ve certainly ever spoken to at one of these events, with a huge amount to say about design ethics and innovation. There might be an opportunity for us to do a Q&A with him and possibly offer some previews of content from his new book Sketching User Experiences in issues to come –which would be awesome to look out for.Overall, I think we managed to derive some interesting feature opportunities and contacts from the event, so I’m looking forward to pursuing some cool content off the back of it. We’ll also have a more detailed look back at our attendance of the show in issue 150, so be sure to pick that up on 23 October.Thanks to Microsoft!Mark :D
