Online and print publishing software giant Adobe announces biggest ever Creative Suite product launch

Adobe today revealed that the highly antiscipated new iterations of its industry standard Creative Suite tools are to be launched on April 12th. Which means new versions of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator and the rest will have their features unveiled in full and all of us who are bursting at the seams to tell you how great they are can finally break our silence!

Web Designer 170 will have details on specifically the key components of the new Web Premium family of products and those synonymous with web design – primarily Dreamweaver, Flash, Flash Catalyst, Fireworks and Photoshop so watch out for that when it hits shelves on May 6th.

Adobe meanwhile are preparing a special online event for the launch day where you can catch exclusive presentations from top evangelists and those closest to the new products. You can sign up via the dedicated countdown site (pictured) found at http://cs5launch.adobe.com/?sdid=FDSFE

We can’t say any more than that really, but would encourage your comments on the pending release and whether there are any specific features you’d hope to see…

Just a quick “heads up” and NOT A COMPLAINT… just a fyi:
you guys have spelt a word wrong on your front page in the article above on Adobe Creative Suite 5 in the first sentence: “Adobe today revealed that the highly antiscipated new iterations of its industry standard Creative Suite tools are to be launched on April 12th….” you have spelt anticipate: antiscipate. Typos happen to us all… and there may well be an error in my email to you… but, I am not publishing this email online. Hope you donĀ“t object to my giving you the heads up!!

I can’t wait to see what the differences are between the last version all though they have intergrated flash video support with pdf which I think will be great if it works hand in hand with new mobiles such as the Andriod and iPhone, escpecially for ecommerce customers presenting new products.

One question. Is Dreamweaver getting any love? There is still bugs in CS4.
