In Web Designer issue 169 which goes on sale 8th of April, we offered a download link for additional assets for the tutorial  ‘Dice your templates into shape and ready for the web’.

The freelancer subsequnetly produced a ‘safe pack’ of image assets that could be distributed and may be of benefit to those who wish to follow the walkthrough more closely. We apologise for the inconvenience of not being able to distribute these on the CD.

I am intrigued with this tutorial. As I am now stuck on step 06 ‘Fixing the frame’ probably due to my short photoshop experience, how do you mean by selecting the right side of the frame, make a copy and then flip it?

I have tried it by using rectangular marguee to select the right side of the frame, then Edit>Transform>Flip vertical. Am I doing it right? Why flip it?

To be honest, I am not sure what is the purpose fo this step? Is it to make the frame bigger? More details on this step would help.

      Thank you
      Regards
